Melania Martínez
My name is Mel. I was born in a little village in the north of Spain called Astorga, next to León. and I love teaching. I am a native Spanish qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) from the National College for Teaching and Leadership (England) and DBS. I have lived in England for four years and also in Germany for a year. I can teach you in an organized way, with different activities such as Listening, oral comprehension, Grammar, Reading and Writing.
Moreover I have a Master in Music, specialized in Flute from Barenboim-Said Foundation in Sevilla and I have studied one course in Pedagogy and Didactics at Royal Music College in Madrid.
I always keep training. I think it is essential for a teacher to be up-to-date. That's why I am finishing now a new course for Spanish Teacher's Training for foreigners ELE from the University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching children and adults for seven years. I have taught foreigners in Spain and Germany. I have been the Spanish teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic Nursery and Primary Academy in Newark on Trent for three years, and Jubilee Academy in Nottingham.
Tutoring Approach:
I offer you a complet way to learn Spanish, including different activities. I will check you your previous knowledges and we will determine the objectives.
I offer a personalized teaching, adapted to each person depending on your aim, Spanish exams, holidays in Spain, living in Spain, Spanish for your job...At the moment I count on completely beginners, intermediate and advanced students, making with everybody a completely active learning.
